Depending on our situation and lifestyle, our wallet needs also change. For this reason, at Gusti Leder, you'll find a wide variety of leather wallets and purses that cater to different needs while never losing sight of the essential: providing a secure place to store our belongings.

For example, in everyday life we ​​need enough space for debit and customer cards, coins, banknotes and maybe even a photo or two of our loved ones. The motto here is therefore usually: the clearer the better. But in the evening or on vacation at the latest, we really only want to carry the bare essentials with us: some cash, maybe an EC card and ID, but nothing more. You can also find classic wallets with an extra portion of card slots, small coin purses and even wallets without an additional coin compartment, but which are RFID-secure . Goat leather, cow leather or buffalo leather – which leather is perfect for your needs?

Our range includes wallets and purses made from three different types of leather. So you can choose between:

• goatskin,
• Cowhide and
• Buffalo leather.

Goat leather is generally a bit stiffer at first, but quickly becomes very supple and soft with regular use. Cowhide and buffalo leather, on the other hand, are somewhat more robust than goat leather due to their inherently stronger material . Even after some time, these leathers still feel a bit firmer in texture, although they will naturally also soften . So decide for yourself which leather best meets your needs for your new leather wallet.

Our product range is as diverse as our product lines, to which these products belong. The wallets in the "Gusti Leder nature" line, for example, are entirely dedicated to sustainability. This line includes only those Gusti Leder products that are traditionally handcrafted from vegetable-tanned goatskin in small family businesses in India. Individuality and uniqueness are therefore not just empty phrases here; each individual product is truly unique.

Products from the "Gusti Leder studio" line, meanwhile, impress with their functionality combined with a modern, urban style that's right on trend. The cowhide and buffalo leather used in this line are chemically tanned with chrome in certified factories in India, making them particularly durable and dimensionally stable.

Gusti Leder works exclusively with factories in India and Italy that operate according to international labor and human rights standards . To ensure the consistently high quality of our leather products, we regularly commission sample tests from independent laboratories and conduct unannounced visits to the workplaces to verify compliance with contractually defined production and labor standards. In the event of violations of these standards, we act in accordance with our zero-tolerance policy and immediately terminate our cooperation with the affected factories.
