Gusti Leather Nature
Gusti Leder nature is our first private label. It combines sustainable business practices in harmony with nature and people with a unique and, above all, sophisticated vintage design. For Gusti Leder nature, taking responsibility means consciously distancing ourselves from mass production and ensuring fair working conditions. Gusti Leder nature means a conscious approach to materials and quality, and its traditional vegetable-based process sets it apart from our other brand, Gusti Leder studio .
A unique vintage piece with a clear conscience!

The path of the bag
Our fantastic and, above all, unique products from the Gusti Leder nature collection are made primarily from goatskin from free-range goats in India. Small family businesses with a maximum of 15 people then process the leather into our fantastic products in several steps. First, the leather is vegetable-tanned using the traditional method with tannins from the bark of the babool tree. The leather is then dyed and fat-fattened using only pure vegetable oils and completely avoiding chromium salts.
Our Mission
Our goal is to create something unique, driven by our passion for the wonderful material leather, and to do so under fair conditions. Our highest priority is to ensure the livelihood of the producers and their families, as well as to eliminate child labor. India is one of the countries where child labor is widespread, and many children under 15 support their families financially. However, our producers have a strict ban on child labor. For this reason, every production facility signs a contract. In addition, our CEO Christian Pietsch makes unannounced visits to the production facility several times a year.
Fairness and transparency instead of child labor
